See I told you I’d been keeping up with all this didn’t I aye! I shot this outfit the other day based around this gorgeous lacey one-piece that Rare London so kindly contacted me about. The quality of it is suprisingly amazing, it’s pretty thick but really silky. I actually wore it out the weekend I got it too, all night (also no need for bra) and it was still in its shape and comfortable as ever.

I decided to pair it with my favourite trousers of the mo, my Primark coulettes (currently reduced to £3 go grab them now). Then I couldnt resist throwing on my Dr Marten’s with how into them I’ve been again recently and my trust old leather jacket and fedora!

Back to reality working Mon-Friday for now …

Surprise I found more old blog pictures I forgot about! These are from a while back. On the day I shot my magazine editorial from my final project at university, me and my friend, Nichole, decided to grab a couple of blog pictures. It was so handy having some of both our wardrobes there so we mixed it all up haha.

The location here where I shot my editorial is so pretty. That strange pyramid building (I think it’s a hotel) is so nice as well as all the ruins we’re actually shooting on. I love being down here in Southampton!

Silly me again, realised I completely forgot to upload the rest of the outfit pictures from my day in Bournemouth last month. So many lovely pictures thanks to someone I met at university (Jake White, I appreciate the fab photography so much ♥).  I’ve been a busy bee since then, still working full time, started to sort out cheerleading committee things etc! I did go to Electric Daisy Carnival last weekend too which was absolutely incredible. But, that’ll be another post.

This jacket I’ve had from H&M for literally about 2 years and after forgetting to bring it to university for ages, I cannot stop wearing it. I’ve even had someone say it’s funny watching me try all my jackets on with an outfit because they know exactly which one I’ll end up in… It’s the perfect level of a nice thin summer jacket but thick enough for when it gets hold. These sandals though, oh my. Last SS season at H&M I picked up the all black ones which you can read about here and I’ve been saying ever since that they need the bring out the all white pair and this year was I pleased? Yes, yes I was.

I’m all settled into my new house and living arrangements now in prep for second year of university – which by the way I managed to pass with a high 2.1 (yay)! For now, more sleep…

Bournemouth Food & Drink Festival 19/06/2015

On the 19th of June I actually ventured out of Southampton and my full time job I recently got at Primark and headed off to the Bournemouth Food & Drink festival. It was my first time at the festival as well as my first time actually going to Bournemoth city and beach. The day was so sunny so it was perfect (even though my frail pale skin obviously burnt to a crisp as I forgot suncream).

We actually ended up decided to walk into the town from the station with no directions or Google maps and it was actually pretty fun and we went the sickest way there through this gorgeous bike trail. There was Jamaican, Spanish, Italian, Mexican, Gourmet cheese sandwiches (reminds me of the film Chef) and of course British food as well as different types of meats you’d not usually eat such as Boar or Deer for meat eaters.

Ended the day on a walk down to the beach and around the coast and it was so lovely, such a nice break from the harbour, rocks and city. I’ll have a vlog and outfit of the day up within the next few weeks when I get some free time.

Another outfit of mine that I modelled for my friend’s university project. This is most definitely my favourite, much more my style. I can’t wait for summer when I can just be running around in my Nike’s and white jeans etc I also didn’t realise how cold it was down south till I came back up to the midlands! It’s mad.

It’s been far too long! I haven’t posted on here in what feels like forever – but finally after settling into uni and getting prepared for my first hand in I feel like I have the time to get back into this. I’ve missed it too much to just give it up. So me and Sophie from Set In Style are actually on the same course together at Southampton Solent University and we’ve asked eachother to model for our editorial trend pieces – we thought we may as well grab some blogging pictures while we were at it. I’m still trying to find nice locations for blogging around my area of Halls but we’re getting there!

Anyway – I’m literally loving my course at university and loving living down here in Southampton. I’ve settled in perfectly and it definitely feels like a second home to me. Getting back into the swing of things is feeling great.

(Last two pictures have been stolen from my gurl Soph Bennett http://www.setinstyle.co.uk)

So following on from my last post – here is what me and Sophie did later in the afternoon. Around 6pm we headed off to No.1 Leicester Square for Bloggers Fashion Week hosted by Bloggers Love (#BLFW). When we got in, everyone was already into everything: browsing the brands pieces, using the tweet boutique upstairs for some goodies and having a few drinks and cupcakes/sweets. I think a few brands hadn’t turned up as I remember seeing some on the list who I couldn’t find there which was disappointing but I still had a nice evening and got some lovely gifts to try out – watch for some reviews! Especially on a new high coverage-waterproof foundation!

I’d say my favourite brand of the day was definitely FYT & Co – for one their stuff is amazing, created with a bamboo knit, it’s super soft it’s incredible. I’m dying for the light grey beanie and some of the underwear!

The night ended with a fashion show, some of the pieces were gorgeous but we couldn’t stay until the end because of our trains etc. It sucks having to travel so far for these events! I’m thinking I will more than likely head off to BLFW next season as well for another nice evening. Talk soon,

On Wednesday I was back off up to London to attend Bloggers Fashion Week (hosted by Bloggers Love). It’s an event where brands showcase items and connect with many different bloggers, then ending with a fashion show later in the evening. It was also the day I got to meet my friend Sophie (www.setinstyle.co.uk) who is going to be on my university course next year which was awesome! I feel much less worried about our first lesson now.

The event started at 6 but me and Sophie thought we’d get to Leicester Square for about 4 so we could have a look around, do blogger things and go for a nice drink. We walked up to Trafalgar Square for a while and then we headed off to find a nice pub to grab a drink in. We found this cute little pub somewhere around there (I can’t think for the life of me what it was called or whereabouts it was, I apologise!) and then popped into Slug & Lettace for another one before we headed off to the event.

There will be another post up Sunday about how we got on at the event and the little treats I got given.
